Numerius Otho is a Tribune of the Sixth, stationed in Rome as a favour to the Senate, his cohort is it's unofficial hand.

Otho is the tenth son of a minor Patrician family. Expected to follow his brothers into the Legion, he reluctantly agreed. While he's been trained and acknowledged as a natural swordsman from a young age in martial skills, Numerius' first love was horsebreeding. He received a classical education, much like his brothers, though he didn't take as well to rhetoric as they did. In his teenaged years, his family's fortunes slowly waned, and his father died in a fire that caught in the old family villa.

Seeking to help his eldest brother and new family head raise their fortunes, he dutifully joined the Legions. His brother's connections landed him a job as an Optio for a family friend. His initial military service was largely social, and it wasn't until a unit was tasked out to deal with pillagers along Rome's borders that he got to see his first action.

Reserved, as solid as a rock, and trusting his elders above all.
